So, I finally figured out how to make a sim in Body Shop as opposed to in game, which is how I've made all of my sims to date. I love the more enhanced tools you can use in Body Shop, and was really happy with the sims I made ... until I tried to import them to the game.
Just to experiment, I decided to make Angel, Buffy and Spike. They looked really good in CAS, but in game only Spike looked OK and his nose was nothing like I'd created. Angel looked like an ugly thug and Buffy was just freaky, with HUGE eyes. I played with her eyes a lot, because they're one of her defining features, and they looked just fine in Body Shop. But in game she looked like an alien.
What gives? Has anyone else had this happen?
What point is there to making a cool looking sim if they don't translate to the game?
And why did Maxis put all those cool features in Body Shop and not in the game CAS?
Grrrrr ....
