Since this area is kind of dead I thought that I would post some of my photographs* from around this area for others to (possibly) enjoy.

I don't have a lot of photos at the moment but I'll post the ones I took today, and more when I get some I like.

The photos below are the flowers that I currently have in my garden.

I liked the way this one turned out so thought I would see how my other flowers would take to the camera - I was a little surprised at the amount of detail included when I transfered the originals to my computer. These are the greatly-reduced sizes (averaging 500kb versus the original 14MB  )

*Any images I've posted in this thread, or have my "tag", are ones that I have taken myself.

Wow, they're nice photo's!
 Maybe I should go and take some shots of the weeds growing through the cracks in the pavement...

LOL, Alison. :D

Beautiful pictures, Snake. Must be a beautiful garden, too. :)

I like these next ones (pink! :D). The colors are rather pretty and the images are pretty sharp with how close the lense is. I believe these kinds of flowers are called Bleeding Hearts - and the second is some kind of lilly (unsure of the specific name).

Added: Also, here's the yellow lilly clump instead of the single I snapped earlier.

The pink ones are beautiful! It looks very professional, focusing on the flowers with the background blurred.

I'll try and get some pics from our old house...

Ooh, purdy colors! I can never seem to get that close-up with my sucky camera. When I do, it focuses on the background.

What a wonderful place, Alison. Beautiful views. And someone holding the camera has talent. :)

Nice pictures, too, Michelle.

I have one I took this morning. It rained last night and the weather has been colder than usual at this time of year, but this ragged little rose bush keeps blooming. Not a particularly good picture, but I liked it. :o
