Upgrading Sims 1...Help A Newbie Out!

Hello All!
Got a question...or 2...LOL! Is there any way to upgrade my Sims 1 to Sims 2? Another question is: What good upgrades are there for House Party?

Um... Sims 1 and Sims 2 are two different games, not an upgrade from one to another.

Yes, they are completely different games. It would be like transforming a 1981 Honda Civic 2.2EL into a 2004 Mitsubishi Starion SS-II.

As for your other question, there should be some downloadable patches for The Sims House Party expansion pack.
