I read this Pulp Fiction type of story - which was called "Goners" in 2005.
Decided to do my own comicbook version, showed it to the writer who felt that I didn't follow closely enough to the plot and preferred that I didn't go on to persue this idea any further.
All the work one puts into Costume, Paneling - deciding if you want to show the Illustrations in Color / B&W or either do it Manga or Marvel style plays in the outcome of the presentation.
The Sims 2 - Bodyshop didn't quite work out as that free download thing for the Mac as it promised to be. If I ever did get that upgraded Mac G5, you would most likely guess I'd try to emulate the characters in that format.
Still questioning what would it be like to come up with a comicbook panel design of the Sims - and tell a simple story, that way... that's probably how I would of wanted to protray something --- perhaps until I know of someone who has more Film Editing Experience than I do, come up with something.
At least - one can dream about a good screenplay.

Woah! You have talent! Awesome (if a little gruesome) stuff :D Like to see more if you have it and don't mind sharing.
Psst. Wanna come over and paint my house ;)

Couldn't resist borrowing a few characters here - since they already are established. Enjoyed the comicbook pages on The Urbz - but had to stick with my own style of using airbrush & felt tip pens... as opposed to laying on thick paints.

I created a one minute and five second video on www.youtube.com (http://www.youtube.com)
- Postmort3m , version 01
under the screenname of Geargail (http://www.youtube.com/geargail )
- There's a few other Video Screenplanning pieces I've uploaded as well. This particular one, is based on the idea of a small short pulp fiction / slash story.
What didn't work out is using the "Computerized Voice" to Narrate the start of the film... which couldn't be heard loud enough. Borrowed the Soundtrack of one of the Build MP3's for an iMOVIE editing project. Cutting a 04:50 song down to 01:05 took some practice.

Here's what I'm doing so far...

The panel breakdowns - and story concept is original.
- after playing with the screenplay for two years so far, there were things I enjoyed that are my own as opposed to following the original writer's idea of his version of a pulp fiction piece.

There is a slow process of elimination, as Mortimer Goth videotapes how he keeps the Bikerdudes chasing him in the Construction Zoned Building at bay.
The Panel Structure has to hold up... On this version it really shows Mortimer egging these dopeheads to follow him up the second floor stairwell. Problem with the speed and pacing of the page needed to slow down a bit.

I would of love to post - what a friend from YouTube.com offered, who does his own electronic keyboard compositions had sent me - but would have to give the URL link, once I can get it from www.youtube.com
You've got to close your eyes and imagine, that being the Title Credit opener.
will keep you posted.

This is what I'd thought sounded cool - for the title credits for Postmortem
Can't seem to upload it at this point.
--- what I would like to do is make a new animation video with "Remorseless" track played in a .mov format. hoping to upload it on YouTube and Multiply soon.

I've done three versions of filming an iMovie, of Postmortem.
- Version 03, included some basic editing which I've learned to play with. Such as fade in / outs and included some title pieces... once I've figured out what Support/Imovie/apple suggested.
you can see the video on http://geargail.youtube.com
* a 10 x 6.75 format and 7 x 9 format were both experimented on. Manga has a particular size, as opposed to a Mexican / Italian style 'chunky' novella to a U.S. designed page.
Deciding to stick with a particular format, and at least go further, to break the panels down in a screenplay, which three images are placed on a piece of paper --- with some notes on the bottom which indicates what an animation director should be following.
Who would of guessed there's some differences between developing a cheap comicbook - and creating a screenplay for a film idea. At least I'm learning...
succeeding and finishing up would be good too.

There's a total of 12 Cast Members in Episode One.
This is how I'm re-interpriting the Goth Family.
* renamed the group Postmo4t3m to Postmo4tem-graphicnovel
Check the Photos Album section for the Updated Headshots & Costumes for the rest of the cast of characters.
Check the Files folder section for the Screenplay for Vol 01, 02, 03, 04, for Episode One.
*** Does anyone plan to get the Videogame for the P.C. called "The Movies" which is published by Ferari Entertainment ? It's simular to what you can do with Sims 02 - and curious if anybody in general would be able to direct what I'm doing from my notes.
Each of the Volumes are 16 pages long, and looks like a 10 by 6.75 piece of paper / folded by 3 - to look like a brochure, which features a scene cut with ( dialog, action, timing ) to it.
Enclosed is an example screenplay piece.
Thanks
