psp - non stop bug

my sim has started to move forwards non stop. i think it is a bug. the only time she stops is when she goes past something she can action and i manage to click x in time. when reaching a wall she will just keep moving forwards and i have to use the top see through right and left keys to move the screen around but she just keeps moving forwards. I have tried quiting and coming back to the game but no luck. Please help.

is this for psp or ds cos maybe there is something wrong with your console?
