Hi everyone! Yesterday I bought Nightlife and Open for Business. I installed both of them without a problem but while I was playing them I encountered major bugs that even after I downloaded all the patches could not be fixed. (These included the jumping bug, not being able to get home off of community/downtown lots, disappearing cars, inability to use the telephone to make calls, people getting stuck to the point that the moveobjects cheat wouldn't help!) I uninstalled both expansion packs and the main game. This morning I reinstalled The Sims2, patched it, reinstalled Nightlife, patched that but I am having trouble reinstalling Open for Business. It gets about 95% of the way done then I get a pop up message that says the following;
"A problem occurred when trying tto transfer the file 'D:\TSBin\sis2EP3.exe' from the media"
It askes me if I would like to try again or cancel the download. If I hit try again the same message pops up. I have cancelled it and reintalled it to no avail. I have also tried to install it manually but copying the files off the CD into another folder and installing it from the folder. I checked the CD itself and there seems to be nothing wrong with it (ie. no scratches or marks.)
What should I do? Please help!
