Aerodu

Warning: It may sound familiar to all of you. And there are cross-overs between expansion packs of the Sims 1 and a Sims 2 functionality has been added.
In the world of Aerodu, you lead lives and interact with other characters and NPCs in the world.

You may hold any of these career lines but only 1 at a time (new ones will appear either on demand or as the plot advance):
Business: Trade (buys, sells in gross and detail)
Medicine: Healthcare (implicit)
Science: Research and development, engineering
Law Enforcement: The name says it all
Military: Combat of any type
Sports (choosing extreme or not would make them different career lines), music, show-business: Entertainment (type differs depending on the career line you choose)
Politics: The name says it all yet again
Journalism: News reports of any kind
Computer science: Hardware and software
Cooking: Food supply
Oh and there are 10 ranks for each career line, each having its own wages. You always start a line as a rank-1 character and the first two ranks require no specific skills. However, whenever you think you're ready to undertake the promotion to a rank-3 or higher, I'll post in the needed skills and friends, as well as the wages.
You can find rank-1 jobs in the newspaper (1 per day) or on the Web (3 per day).

Skills:
Cooking: Affects how good is your food (can be developed by cooking and by using the home lab)
Mechanics: Affects how well you repair things (can be developed by repairing and making garden dwarves)
Charisma: Affects how well you play society games (can be developed by playing society games or rehearsing in front of a mirror)
Body: Affects how well you fare in unarmed fights and hand-to-hand fights (in case you have a BIG quarrel with someone) (can be developed by bench pressing and swimming)
Logic: Affects how well you play logic games and you prepare potions in home labs (can be developed by playing logic games and by using the home lab)
Creativity: Affects how good is your art, writing or music (can be developed by playing a musical instrument, by writing in the computer or by painting)
The higher your skill level, the longer it takes to develop it. Everyone starts at 0 (they range from 0 to 10) in every skill listed above.
________________________________________________
Money: Several ways exist to earn the cash:
- By your daily grind in a career line
- By selling stories across the Web or art (you have to do so before you can make another story/painting)
- By selling garden dwarves
- By random events (on the phone)
You start the game with $3,000, inside a home who possess the basic commodities: telephone, kitchen, table, TV, bed, bathroom, all of them at the basic tier. You can acquire superior-tiers equipment whenever you feel ready. However, when your money reach 0, you cannot buy anything (not even food!).
Bills come every 7 days and are calculated using the usury and value level of your current equipment and home.

Needs: 0 means it is fully satisfied. Needs increments in number means it is more or less satisfied (when a need indicator reach 100, it means it sorely needs to nullify said need)
Hunger: can be nullified by eating. Several actions increase your hunger faster than others (swimming increase hunger faster than writing stories on a computer, for instance)
Comfort: can be nullified by sleeping, sitting down on any kind of chair/couch or taking a bath (showers will increase it instead). Increases over the time spent upright.
Hygiene: can be nullified by taking a bath/shower and washing hands. Increases over time (some activities, like painting/bench pressing/extinguishing fires at home, will make it increase faster than others)
Bladder: can be nullified by going to the toilets. Eating will make it increase faster than anything else.
Fun: Can be nullified by various means:
- Any kind of games
- Watch TV
- The action Play on a computer
- Painting
- Performing music of any kind
Increases over time.
Social: Can be nullified by interpersonal interaction (NPC-to-player is fine). Increases over time.
