custom content package file to install content...

Hi before I was able to install custom content but now I cant for some reason.... I used to download my content from the sites into Ea games, then my sims then I would place the file in downloads. I then used to double click on the content and a blue box would appear saying you have sucesessfully installed the package. Now I cant do that anymore =( !! When I go to double click the cutom content the blue box says "Please double-click a custom content package file to install content." Its in the right folder the sims 2 downloads so whats going on?????? :cry:

I'm having the same problem also.
I couldnt figure out how to install stuff so i clicked this box saying something like "open files when downloading" or something kinda like that and now it says "double-click on custom conent package file" like yours and i dunno what it is :confused:
