Ok, solved: Thread can be closed - you access all EPs thru the newest one...

I recently bought the Sims 2 and all the expansion packs for my girlfriend to surprise her, knowing what a fan of Sims 1 she is.
I installed them (without ever trying to run any of them until completing the install of all) in the right order:

"The Sims 2 University"
"The Sims 2 Nightlife"
"The Sims 2 Holiday Party Pack" (Stuff Pack) - i also found this somewhere for a very sweet price
"The Sims 2 Open for Business"
"The Sims 2 Family Fun" (A Stuff Pack)

Now, when i try to run any Sims except for Family Fun Stuff, i get the message "You are running the wrong version of The Sims 2. Please run The Sims Family Fun Stuff instead." After the install of Family Fun Stuff, i have downloaded the update for Family Fun Stuff ( i guess that should update the game for all versions). After that, I've tried to run the update for University, but that didnt help, it terminated with an error saying that a fatal error has occured and University might have to be reinstalled :S

Thanks for any help on this problem!

EDIT: I just, succesfully, installed the patch for Open for Business, but when i try to run i still get the same error...

Have you downloaded all the patches for The Sims 2 and the expansions you have? Because if you haven't then you need to download them.
