House brag thread

Thanks for the kind words. It was one of the lots I lost during the GBFBVFS incedent last month. It was one of the few lots that I had failed to package and back-up, so I had to recreate it from scratch. Luckily, I had many pictures of the original, including the floorplan. I took the opportunity to make a few tweaks for the better, and I think it turned out rather well. Oh, and NO CUSTOM CONTENT! (I've learned my lesson!!)

I am now in the process of repopulating the orphanage with orphans - which is a long, tedious, and often heartless process! (Who knew "Death by Flies" would take so long!)

Its nice to look at nice houses made by players and not maxis. My self made homes usually turn out square.

Hey, if I want to move a newly created family into an expensive house,
is there a way to get enough money without moving to a separate lot
& then cheating?

 

If you have Nightlife, you can type the cheat: familyFunds Smith +100000

Use this cheat while in neighborhood view for a family that's still in the bin. It doesn't have to be 100000. I can be any amount. If there is no + sign then the the amount replaces the 20000 they already have. Otherwise it adds to it.

Here's a starter house I made. It's around 17,000-18,000 which leaves about 2,000-3,000 for food. It's fully furnished. Hope you like it as it's my first house. Just wish I was better LOL.

For some reason I'm getting unable to move/copy errors when attaching my images so here they are from photobucket.

 

Images must be jpg not bmp if you are attaching images.

I read the guide on posting pictures and they are jpg's. It's just saying unable to move/copy.
