I watched the video. So wonderful, so much fun! I can't wait for seasons. The snow is so beautifully done. Edited to add that I just now pre-ordered it.
Looks kind of neat. I dunno though, I still think they could have added the weather to the first expansion like what was originally said... they just wanted a brand new expansion to charge extra for. I'm not saying that it won't be an amusing expansion, but the Pets one lost its playability after several hours.
I absolutely can't wait for this EP! It's ticked all the boxes for me. Everything I ever wanted from this EP is there. Now, I had better start my Maplestory withdrawal already. I have a feeling that this is the EP to pull me back to Sims 2!
OMG I am so jonesing ... when does it come out? And oh, I just wanted to say ... it's just possible that some of my suggestions, and those of others, made it into this EP. Bluesoup and I and some other people posted our wants on the official site, and lo and behold this EP has them ... don't know if great minds just think alike, or what, but it's nice to think someone might be listening. For example, I thought up skunks a while back, and now they're in pets. And I keep asking for more family interactions and outdoor activities and it looks like there's a whole bunch of them in Seasons. Probably just coincidence, but still ... I'm glad to see it.
I think, but not positive that I read February 27th somewhere. I agree though, this is the most exciting EP to come out so far! I'm a little worried about all the bugs though this one might have. Think of all they've added! I would have assumed this EP might take at the min. of 6 months before it was ready to be released. There isn't even a patch for Pets yet...anxiously waiting that still.

This looks really neat! I wonder how the season's will work? Like if it will do it by a certain amount of days and if so, if they age the same?
yes it does work in a series of days. I myself dont know how many though i think its like 7. And they age the same, toddler>child>teen>young adult>adult>elder
I really am looking forward to it too (and have one on order). I just hope that the snow doesn't make people's computers work too slow or cause weirdnesses. I want to see how they handle the neighborhood view. But, at this point it's only about 3-4 weeks away! (Eek! I have to get my computer cleaned up, my download files culled, etc. etc. etc.!)
Wow this game looks so cool!! The EP makes Sims 2 more realistic and interactive, a bit like Animal Crossing.
Do you mean if it snows the neighbors would have snow too? I myself think it would be neat to see the neighbors playing out in the snow :cold:
What I mean is...let's see if I can explain this... For example, the life stage for a child is...8 days? So, if during that 8 days you only pass one season, it's a bit unreasonable that during one season your child grows up to a teen. But I guess growing up in 8 days also isn't very reasonable either I'm really excited about the weather. Especially the snow. Maybe it will make up for what I haven't got to have in real life!! We've gotten one or two snows this winter--a mere two inches. I want a foot! Grrrrr.
Animal Crossing is one of my favorite games! I'm very excited for this EP... It looks to me like it could quite possibly be the best EP ever... Which is a surprise compared to their lackluster EPs recently.
