Lola Phoenix, who was a very crotchety character, gets special delight out of scaring the bejeezus out of her great-grandson. But maybe I'm just imagining things. Weirdly, Connor Llewellyn, my vampire ghost who burned up in the sun, is a very peaceful ghost. You'd think they'd be reversed, since Lola died of old age and Connor was still in college, and very unhappy when he died. Most ghosts are fairly peaceful unless you delete their beds. Then watch out. The worst, and angriest ghost, I have is James Aldrich, who makes things float and gets his jollies out of terrifying small children and old ladies. He's been banished to the yard.
Well, this is a fine conversation and my current ghost, Lifelong Welfare, who starved to death, is a transparent fat shirtless tattooed creep with a wool cap, quite spooky. But what the heck is this 'medicine machine too close to the pool' thing? How did that kill Grandpa? And what's Rally Forth? Unlike some of you softies, I find this one of the coolest parts of the game. Right now I've got a Mad Scientist and a Cat Burglar well on her way to Criminal Mastermind and I'm hoping they both die miserable so I can see just what havoc they create.
Rally Forth is if you overdo the megaphone thing in OFB. You can rally your troops but at cost to yourself. I am always sad when my sims die but I admit I like seeing their ghosts. I was really bummed when the lot containing Zaire and Castor Nova's ghosts crashed and I lost them. In my old town I had a couple who seemed to thoroughly enjoy their ghosthood. The wife popped through the chest of mailman as he was being romanced by the second wife. Poor Brandi LeTourneau peed all over the sidewalk.
well if your sim die, you can always call grimmy and beg him to bring your beloved sim back.... (univ. required though)
I hope I quoted correctly... Anyway, the only time I've had a satellite crash was when my sim, Jessica, was watching clouds & I thought that was the only way to be hit by one. So, you're saying just standing out in the yard can cause a satellite to fall on you? :eyepopping:
I'm pretty certain that you have to be watching the clouds, and I think that's what SBW meant in that comment.
That's not entirely true.. You can plead for your loved one and I'm pretty sure you don't have to have Uni to do that. Your sim can come back to life if you do that. It all depends on if you choose the right hand or not when you're playing that little game with Grimmy... Anyway, I'm rather interessed in how these zombies in Uni look like. I've never tried to get one myself because I haven't played Uni for a while (not installed on my PC and I don't want to install it just to see a zombie). So I was wondering if somebody could be so kind and post a pic or two of a zombie here please? Thanks spanks.
