A poster of the upcoming movie was release. It looks absolutely stunning! I think I'm gonna enjoy this as much as I did when they did The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Uh, guys? If it's a good movie she doesn't need to be strapped in.

That's OK, Hugz, you can come watch it with Witch Baby and me. We've only seen it once so far.

    I'll make popcorn.

No duct tape, I promise. :D

Can I just say I've never watched any Narnia related stuff ... nor read the book (s?). As a child and an adult I much preferred Winnie the Pooh to Beatrix Potter and Hans Christan Anderson to Baum or Lewis. When I could read for myself I preferred Ms Blyton ( ) before discovering the wonderful gothic fantasy world of Mervyn Peake's Gormenghast Castle and later the LOTR.

Sadly there are only three novels in the series and (frankly) the third was a trifle disappointing. But the first two were so fabulous that I forgave everything. Read about them here ... I'd place these quite high in any high school reading list and wish I still had them cos I'd read them again.

I've never read the Narnia books either. Tried to once but they just weren't my style so I quit. Plus, I think I started reading the last book first. What? How was I supposed to know that the Lion, the Witch and the Wordrobe was book number one?

I like Beatrix Potter's books. My parents used to read them to me when I was little. There's just something about those books that make them so... nice.

Oddly this is the book that I didn't read all the way through. I read all the others.
