Sounds more like natural causes now. He had pneumonia and the police just said there were pills on his nightstand...well if he had pneumonia there would be! And he was found in his bed, not on the floor like some sites were first reporting. It's sad, I really enjoyed him as an actor. I've always said he was my favorite male actor.
Another one bites the dust. It's so sad to see people who get burned up by success. He had it all except peace of mind (you don't need prescription pills that can kill if you're young, healthy and not stressed to the edge of sanity). I feel so sorry for celluloid celebrities (music, TV and movie); they strive so hard for success and for some, when it arrives the strain is too much and, because of their single-track ambitional, goal-oriented psyche, they lack the focus and the and imagination to resist the pressure to top each success with another, bigger one. Mr Ledger is dead. Let's pray instead for the troubled singer Amy Winehouse. :(
I feel kinda out of the loop - never heard of Heath Ledger until today. Even so, it's still sad to read. Only yesterday, my workplace closed for the afternoon in respect to a colleague who died tragically at not much older than Heath Ledger's age. It was her funeral yesterday. She died in an accident during the Christmas holidays. Being careful not to give too many details, but suffice to say that her family is devastated and it really brings it home to you that life is precious and can be gone with the click of a finger.
NOOOO!! not Heath gosh Australian icons are dropping like flies :( first Steve Irwin and now Heath i can't even watch a knights Tale or patriot anymore sadness:(
Very sad indeed on the surface he looked like a man that had everything going for him. We should enjoy every moment of life as its all too short
