Spore Creature Creator - "What will you Create?" Thread Let's kickoff a thread soley based on what creatures you plan to create when the Spore Creature Creator is released. I'm hoping that I have the talent to create me a planet with nothing but these guys: Daaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!
GODZILLA!! I plan on creating anything it will let me, choosing just one creature would be difficult. Totally stoked!
Well, since I have so many of my own alien concepts I've created over the years, I will definitely be getting the Creature Editor standalone so I can get off to a running start when the full game ships. I think it will be a neat challenge to come up with beings that are less cute and also to experiment in utility and see what the minimum parts needed to create a spacefaring race. Like worms in space. I have some "famous monsters" I will draw inspiration from like: -Xenomorphs from the Alien films -Space Jockey from the movie "Alien" -Predator from the film of same name -Metaluna Mutant from "This Island Earth" -Saucer Men -Bioraptors from "Pitch Black" -all manner of Kaiju Eiga (Godzilla and his ilk) -all the Barlowe's Guide to Extraterrestrials -Green Goofy Guys from "Explorers" -Star Wars in general but mainly a planet of Yodas With the ability to tag things in the Sporepedia and then create Sporecasts (subsciptions) with tags, there will be alot of movie, book, comic inspired creatures and tech in the game!
I also plan on making Pierson's Puppeteers at some point... and some Kzinti and Humans which I will dump on a planet and watch fight hand to... uhhh paw. The cloverfield monster may end up turning up somewhere in my galaxy too. However, I'm going to try being original though and making a load of completely new creatures. My main creature will be called the Syntyan. The Syntyan are actually like my 5th creature I've came up with (and about the second I've stuck with ). It's kind of like an ensemble of my favourite parts from past creatures (including some new stuff). I'm confident I'll stick with it though. I too would like to see a life sized Cloverfield monster in Spore (that's mainly why I suggested it =D). Hopefully if I make one the 'epic creature' version of it that you might encounter will be the correct size.
No not really although I have created some beasts for your creatures to eat that are over on my Spore page. I'm waiting on the space ship editor!
