nope still a rumor!

 

Is it a rumor that EA started or one a fan started? I don't recall any real official announcement on it.

Not sure Ruth but it seems like it was "mentioned" at about release time of a possible neighborhood creation tool.
I can't see the average joe using it and uploading hoods anywhere because of the size of the files.
Heck just look at Riverview it was something like 70 - 80 MB's!

 

argghhh stupid pre set neighbourhoods :'(

 

i was thinking beign able to put houses where you want but ermm multiple waterfalls sounds good? x

 

EA themselves promised it. But then they promised a new object creator for Sims 2, and to release Edith for Sims 1...

I think they just said that to get us all excited and then they'll tell us due to unforseen consequences we can't give you that tool but we can give you more fugly hoods with gigantic file sizes that bork your game! :ducks:
