Strange Flu

Just got a message, as Patsy Cline was playing with the car: "NPC Remote Control Car has the flu! He needs a lot of rest to get better...." etc.

Anyone have this happen before? It's like "Ghostbusters" or something.

 

I was just thinking about you today, Jiko, thinking I hadn't seen a post from you in a while ... and here you are.

A car with the flu. Are you sure you didn't name one of your sims Remote Control Car?

What the heck is BVBBFS? Never heard of this.

I DEFINITELY do NOT have a character called "Remote Control Car"! My characters love to play darts and run the car around. They are simple creatures with simple needs. Eat cereal, sneak out, play with car.

The car is working fine, by the way, and not coughing or anything. I keep waiting for it to sneeze...

 

One wonders if you would need to take the car to a doctor - or a mechanic!

Anyway, I believe that a BFBVFS is a "Blazing Fire Ball Visible from Space" - or something like that...At any rate, it is BAD and something you do NOT want to have happen!

 

LMAO you guys. I call my mechanic the "car doctor."

Guess he could fix that cold.

If my car dies from the flu, will I inherit any money? What a wonderful ghost! Imagine the car running around at night (floating around) and irritating everyone. What's next, talking mailboxes?

The Big Fiery Ball Visible From Space is the apparently adopted term for "bug that mangles your entire game and neighborhood". The Remote Control Car is infamous for perpetuating this occurrence.

 

I hadn't played this house for several days. When I visited last night, Patsy Cline started playing with the car again. I immediately got the same message: "NPC Remote Control Car" has the flu. This time, it included a head shot! A bald white guy with a big nose. None of my characters look like this. Also, I noticed she was having a pretty good time, but the car wasn't actually moving anywhere. Now I want to see if I can kill the car by not letting it "rest."

 

OMG, that is so funny. Let us know what happens to "him."

 

I'm sure I've had something similar with NPC Remote blah blah before - and nothing at all bad happened. I'm sure it's just a glitch. In fact, it seems to happen a lot. I don't worry about it.
