From Beauty To Beast? I was wondering, if anyone had their sims have a child which is from birth and not CAS made. Because I've tried countless times and each time I get a very "not so good looking" child and a "I could hardly look at you" teen and it gets worst if you get what I mean they actually look VERY nice as a baby So I was wondering if anyone EVER had a good looking child-adult that wasn't made through CAS but birth through your simmies. Pictures would really be cool too P.S : I'm sorry if I used the words wrongly
Babies all look about the same. A sim's features don't really fully express themselves until they're an adult, so don't get too hung up on how children look. Then again, my sims all look like horrible mean people. Which they are. And I like them that way.
You used words just fine. Pescado's right, the babies ARE all cute. But I've had nothing but cute sims as well, at least until my vampire got abducted by aliens. His kid is a child now and isn't so cute. But the rest ... if you want to see pictures they're all in my story thread, Porta de Luca, and in the thread Who's Who in Porta de Luca (I know this sounds like a shameless plug but I don't want to use up my allotment of pix by posting more here.) Even my one sim who looked like Eddie Munster as a kid turned out to be a handsome guy when he grew up. The woman in my avatar was born in the game (adopted, I just got lucky ...) Do you have university? If you'd like to make some cute babies I'd suggest having Tiffany Sampson from the Sim State sorority marry Castor Nova from the frat. They both make really cute kids. Try to pick a sim with really regular features to "breed" with. That is, no puffy cheeks or tiny little mouth or eyes, just nice normal even features. They make the best looking kids, I think.
I keep having ugly offspring, too. I keep having a problem with teeth coming through their chins!!!! It's not noticable until their teens, and when they become YA's it's really bad. I hate having these deformed looking children!
Becky & Adam Barker = cute kid Al and Tifa Briggs = fugly kid Ed and Sunny Briggs = cute kid Franz and Paine Hoffman = cute kids (yet Lulu looks like Franz, not good for a girl ) Vidcund and Yuna Curious = not sure yet Pascal and Aerith Curious = no kids yet Teal and Kari Smith = cute kids All those were created CAS (or cloned in SimPE) and those were their outcomes. Whee!
Success story....Had alot of concern for this sim when he was born, even more when he turned into a child, as a teen, I thought he just might be okay, and as an adult....well, lets just say I'm very pleased with how he turned out.

Gosh, well I guess I should start off with regular looking simmies and maybe the children might turn out good By far all my adult simmies in the neighbourhood are CAS made and they have (just like surprised_by_witches said) small mouth, nice eyes etc, and their children came out .... I just thought if both parents looks nice, the children will too. Most of the children my simmies had, all had sunken cheeks :(

Wow! They do look nice! At least nicer than mine my sim children turns out with super sunken in cheeks, maybe it's because the parents have a nice defined jaw?

Most of mine turn out ok, the only 'ugly' baby I've ever had was an alien (Pascal Curious's daughter- unfortunately I have no pictures). I just hope she improves with time.
Well I think I shall re-experiment with the simmies again tonight but with simmies who have just average features, hopefully the baby turns out well, because now my neighbourhood is filled with "beautiful" teens and adults.
