    floor problems

I'm remodeling my sim house and some of the floors are not letting me add tile, carpet, etc. How can I fix this? I've tried deleting the foundation and putting it back in, but that doesn't actually give me a floor that is level with the rest. Please, can someone out there help me. I'm really new to this sim thing.

    suitemichelle Gramma's here!

Are you starting your new foudation away from the old foundation? because that might bit a little bit different level from the other so start ajoining the old foundation and see if that helps

Michelle is right. I've run into problems with different levels of foundations. You have to put your marker (the blue thing-a-ma-jig) right up against a corner of the foundation that's already there and then move out or across or where ever you need to go to fill the gap.
