    Bad Fluffy!

Oh boy. I was extremely excited to get Fluffy today, and I arranged him in his very own pen, completely with guard-gnomes and a few teddy bears for company (I figured he'd be very lonely in there, all by himself) I fed him a few times and then went off to eat grilled cheese.

Here he is with (left to right) Ivo, Heinz, Durin, and Brewster.

I love watching this animation. Notice my awesome purple coat. And also notice the teddy bear (I have yet to name him), Bunny-Bear, and Sergeant Cuddles.

But then I invited Goopy over to talk to about grilled cheese, and as soon as I did, I realized that I had gotten fat with all of my grilled cheese-eating, so I worked out for a few hours, completely forgetting about Goopy. Around one in the morning, I took off my thinking cap and went back into the house to take a shower, and looked around for Goopy since I hadn't heard him say Bye. To my horror and slight amusement, he'd been eaten by Fluffy! And I thought the cow plants only ate when you hadn't fed them in a few days! Oops!

I was about to resurrect him, but then I realized he'd then be part of the household and not a townie anymore. Not that I have anything against Goopy, but I like townies to stay townies. I don't know why. It's a weird thing with me. So I just exited the game without saving. At least I have my pictures to commemorate the event.

So...yes. That was my adventure of the day.

Yeah, and eaten people make really angry ghosts. I had a problem with one in my previous neighborhood. I had to delete the tombstone because he was having evil thoughts about my toddler ...

If they do get eaten, don't drink them! You can't resurrect them afterwards.

    Bad, Bad, Fluffy!

Thanks for sharing, Person. A cautionary tale for us all. :D

I don't use that reward, either. I'd hate to have someone I care about eaten ...

I'm not sure. All I know is I was unable to bring someone back after drinking him. It could have just been a game glitch, but it made sense to me. After all, she drank him!

What a bunch of savages. :D

I have yet to get the cow plant. What is the benefit to your sim drinking someone?

I forgot to count, but I think it's like a super duper elixir of life. I could be wrong, it could be just the normal three days, but I seem to remember my sim got more than that from it.

She should! After all, a man gave his life for it!

I forgot to mention how much I liked the teddy bears, Person. Nice touch.

And, I just read your Legacy story. Very funny stuff! Good thing no one else is here to hear me giggling.

    Thank you!

Well, you can still use the cow plant if you just fence him up and remove the gate whenever you're not feeding him...or if you need a cow plant ghost, which all Legacy-writers will eventually.

so.... to get the cow plant to eat people... you don't feed it for awhile?

    will it eat family members?

Apparently the cow plant can eat anyone if it's hungry enough and the person it wants to eat is hungry enough for cake.

I laughed pretty hard once I figured out that Goopy was a Townie (for some reason I was thinking he was one of the teddies).

The cowplant kind of reminded me of that one Simpsons episode... "If you gave a cow a chance it would eat you and everyone you cared about." (or something along those lines.:p

Yes, you are correct. The ecological guru is cool in other ways too. She works for a day and a half and comes back completely refreshed. She flies to work like a superhero and gets to dress like Eve (or Adam). :D

Oh, did I mention she works one day a week and earns $10,000 for it?

    That career rocks.

I've never gotten any sim to the top of this career before, but now one of the Summerdream grandkids is in this track. He'd make an awesome ecological guru, he is an elf after all. I just wonder if he can earn $100,000 doing that if he only works one day a week. I guess that's what elixir is for!
