    Embezzlement from the Secrect Society

I'm currently playing a sim called Claire Sweetpie, adopted daughter of Granny Sweetpie (created to produce a nice/happy ghost on a starter lot.) Claire was the first sim I sent to uni since installing the OFB EP. She quickly made friends with a few SS members and was invited to join in the usual manner. The curiouse thing is that when she went back home after the initiation ceremony she still had the SS's entire bank balance, some 45k simoleons. For grins-n-giggles (and thinking this was a one time glitch) I had her call the real estate office and buy a community lot. I was relieved when she returned to the SS playhouse (just after graduation-before moving back to Bluewater) and they regained their former fortune. Then it happened again.

To make a long story shorter, she ended up selling all this ill-gotten real estate for enough to buy the Van-Dough gallery, one wall of which became her own private show venue to sell the masterpieces she painted and backpacked while in college.

Here is my delema... Is this a glitch (localized on my 'puter) or a new money exploit thanks OFB? I'm afraid to have any more student join the SS because I actually enjoy making my sims "pay their dues", digging and scratching for their own fortunes. They appreciate it more that way.;)

Has anyone else had this happen? If not, can someone else try this? If it's just a new expliot does Maxis know about it...and are they working on a patch to fix it? My sims love to hang out at the clubhouse, but won't be sending another sim there till I can fix this...it's just not right...TANSTAFL and all.

Thanx in advance for your help. :D

Bumping thread. Mods...maybe this should be moved to "How do I"? If so, feel free.
