how do I bake cakes in open 4 business? Hey guys, I was wondering how I can make my sims bake cakes to sell for their business... I am trying to make every business in the bluewater village because all shops there suck! The toy stores, the bakery, the salon, and pretty much everything else is empty! they dont sell anything! So im trying to make a family that will make all of that... plz help me...
Wow...that's a lot of bold! hehe, anyway, click on the fridge, and if you just want to make one, click make one, if your sim has enough cooking skills, then options to make different desserts and meals will be there. Click make many if you want them to continue cooking until you tell them otherwise or their needs go low. This way they will have lots of pies/cakes/meals in their inventory to restock your display case. Hope that helps!
I've discovered, if you want to run a restaurant, that you need a cooking skill of 10 to be able to make the new dishes that came with NL (the ones you can only order in the restaurant). I can't make a cake yet, either. Is a cooking skill of 10 required for that as well? I buy the wedding and birthday cakes right now.

I think you can make the cakes before 10 maybe something like 7 or 8. Baked Alaska is 10 I think. Ruth
The cool thing that I just discovered is that when you start a resturant it gives you a list of things available to serve. So your place can specialize in grilled cheese sandwiches and Lime Seared Prawns. It's a long list of stuff too, I didn't realize just how many things they can get at a resturant. Ruth
