Hi, I'm busy right now but see the link in my signature for the Frequently Asked Questions. One of those will tell you how to find out your computer's specifications. When you have the details post them back here and someone will try to tell what's up. OK?

LOL but we're missing the most important stuff ;) There's nothing after the ":-" at 7, 8 and 9 :p

Now this is an odd problem though because you have masses of free hard disc space. Is your Hard disc partitioned. It probably is.

    Look in My Computer

    What drive letters are there?

Local Disc (C: ) will be where Windows is and by default that's also where your documents and settings are stored, for example:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Mirelly\My Documents\

    Homecrafter uses the folder:

    \My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Projects\HomeCrafter Plus\

as its working directory. Make sure that directory exists ... or at least the root projects folder

    \My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Projects\

Also make sure that you have the right to access those folders. Windows XP is much more user account based than previous home-user versions of Windows. Are you perhaps using a Windows account that is not an administrator account? Offhand apart from that I am a bit stumped. :(
