Podium?

Podium?

Hi all, new here today. Addicted to Sims. Guess that qualifies me to stick around?

I have been trying to open a business but it keeps saying I need a 'podium'? Anyone know where to find this in the item selection?

A podium is the little lectern thingy used by the Maitre d'Hotel to receive customers at restaurants. You should find the various podia (podiums?) in the dining (knife & fork) section of the buy catalog of a community/business ...

Hmm ... <wonders> Do asian versions of TS2 have a chopsticks logo for dining?

 

Sounds like you're trying to open a restaurant. I believe the podium is located in food/miscellaneous in the "community" menu. I don't think you can have one at home.

It's the thing the host stands at to take your request for a table.
