changing clothes i downloaded some new clothes that i would like to use on current simmies. when i click on the mirror and click 'change appearence' it lets me change their hair and make up etc... but when i click 'plan outfit' it only lets me change to a few different clothes........ how do i get the whole clothes list up (if i can) any help apprieciated caduto xx
I think you have to take your Simmies on a lil' old shoppin' trip! Click on the phone and take a taxi to any lot that sells clothes.
so i can only buy clothes from the catalouge at shops? will the whole lot of new clothes be there? and can i then change the new clothes to the 'default' clothes? thanks
Yep to both. To change the clothes to the default clothes, when you get home you select the dresser, and then 'Plan Outfit'.
Slight increase in specificity of answer ... your sims have a wardrobe that starts out with just what they wear. You can buy them more stuff by going shopping. If they have more than one outfit (of a type: eg everyday) in their wardrobe then they can change by using the plan outfit option. More info. The "wardrobe" is family centred, so two adult females in the same hous can share outfits ... in practise this means they can wear the same thing at the same time which is kinda freaky like that egg laying chicken that turned into a rooster recently. I can only assume that the erstwhile hen's owner was a former Ian Collins fan. Sadly the No.1 Ian Collins website (run by your's truly) was decently interred when he moved from the nocturnal "Creatures of the Night" format to the dreariness of daytime talk. He's still awesome and I still love him to bits and listen when I can but nothing can ever match those peerless Thursday night/Friday mornings when the Black Beauty theme struck up in all its menacing orchestral splendour and Freak My Chicken Friday had begun anew and for the next 3 hours anything could happen including Eilish ... I still have a copy of The Reverant [Sic] Alan Blizzard's Planet Eilish somehwere or other ... also full set of Dr. Moebius Tripp's slightly risqu intro's for Andy The Beaver. But when I'm feelin' blue I just put on Coupons? cos it's the surrealist thing I ever heard ... what was the subject again?
