Driveway I was wondering if I could get some help building my driveway. I just installed the Sims nightlife and when I try it tells me I'm out of bounds. I would appreciate your help.Thanks.
First you must make sure you turned off the moveobjects cheat. Do this explicitly by holding down [Ctrl] and [Shift] and press [C] then type in: moveobjects off The driveway has a part that goes in the street. So you cannot place the driveway too close to the righthand side (assuming you're looking at the property from the road). Also the driveway cannot be placed over any objects such as plants, walls, mailbox etc. Those can be moved out of the way but for the mailbox and trashcan you'd need to set moveobjects on (be careful not to lose them (delete them) getting them back is close to impossible and that would utterly ruin the playablity of the family ) If you're adding a driveway to an already built house you may have to do quite a lot of rebuilding in order to fit it in. If you're not sure place one the Maxis made houses that come with NL and which have a garage so you can play around with it and see how the stuff all fits together. The above applies if you don't have Open For Business which changes things a bit.
