I had that exact same question about that camera. It seems that you have to get close enough to the thing to be able to grab a piece of the picture sticking out to one side of the camera. Boy, did I feel dumb when I found it.

The pictures are really neat, though. They have frames and you can hang them on the wall or set them on an end table or coffee table. Makes a house look very cozy.

You have to be in Buy mode. Once you're in Buy mode, look for the little tab sticking out of the side of the camera. Grab it and put it on a wall or table.

Which (d*rn forgot what it was called!) "addition" would this be? I want to get an "addition but I'm not sure which one is the best... And no, I can't get them all...

First of all, sweetie, you don't have to censor the word darn, as far as I know. If the software does that, how very very weird.

They're called EPs. The one with the camera is university. I'd suggest getting that one and then saving your money for NL. The reason is that it's best to install them in order, and university adds a lot of functionality to the game. You can put people with different last names in the same house without having to invite them, you get four new careers (including the artist track, which has the camera), your college graduates get six want slots instead of four, with two saveable, lots of things like that. Oh, and some people hate them, but I love cell phones in the game. Everyone can talk on the phone at the same time and fulfill those pesky social obligations. Plus you can call people from a community lot.

You also get the young adult life phase, which is when they're at their prettiest, and they get some pretty cool clothes and hairstyles to go with it.

University does get a little boring to play once you get the hang of it. At least it did for me. Which was when I went out and bought NL and suddenly young adulthood was fun again. Now college is the best time of my sims' little lives.

Make sure you read all three chapters! The next chapter should be up in about a week or two...I'm surprised that I've gotten so far so soon.

Yep, I read all three :D Erm... yes, EP's, I knew that  Oh yeah, it did censor... well, you know which word, and so I changed it from **** to d*rn so people wouldn't think I was as foul-mouthed as it looked like :p

Aww, not fair, how come she gets to say it!

I haven't really done any of the "Night Life" things with my University Students yet. How does that work...Does time stand still while they are downtown? Or does that pesky College Clock keep ticking away, like it does when they are on a community lot at the university?

Sorry! Just now saw your question. Time stands still unless they have a date at a university, then it keeps ticking. I generally send them elsewhere. They can have a date anywhere there's a community lot, whether it's downtown or your main town or your shopping district or university.

It's nice, especially when I play a lot of sims on a lot, to go on a date and take a breather. If both parties on the date are on the same lot, you play them both. If you invite someone from another lot, player or not, you only play the inviter.

    But you probably surmised that.

Helpful hint that my daughter figured out, not me: You can click on the other person's aspiration marker in the "date" popup window and see what they want. But if you do the esp thing too much without using ask/about want they get mad! Very weird. You'd think they'd be attracted to someone who knows their every need without having to ask ... I know I would! :p

Still, it's handy if you ask about a want and they give you one that can't be fulfilled on a date, like gain a skill point or fall in love with someone else! (LOL, that's my favorite.) You can peek and see if they have a secret wish to be flirted with, or something.
