5 GB harddrive and 192 MB RAM will lead to very slow gameplay, let alone slow down your entire computer. The Sims uses up much more RAM than 192 MB.

It's Required Specs ARE... it needs AT LEAST 256 MB of RAM but it is reccommended that you use 512MB or more. the more RAM you have the faster it will be. FYI: 1GB is Bigger than 512MB
