have a small question My mother gave me her sims2 dvd game.. Only she registered it. how do I go about getting the product registered in my name? The customer service link didn't seem to help... so I came in here as a last ditch measure.
I think you can only register it once. You can try registering later if you buy an EP. My reg got screwed up and the site thought I was trying to double-register, even though I wasn't. I had to wait and register my uni reg code and then it worked fine. Not sure how I'd play uni without the original game, but oh, well.
Yeah it's tough, EA probably never thought that sometimes legitimate discs get passed on to other family members for legitimate reasons. and they aren't always accurate. the site shows me as owning family fun, but I don't.
Me too! I'm also not sure how to tell the site that I own all three EPs now...I see that other people have all three of them highlighted, and I only have Nightlife, the one I registered with.

Surprised by witches was too long, Witches and SBW were taken, so on the official site I'm Zayerne. On a lot of other sites I'm Witches. Pescado took me to task for my extra-long name here, but I likes it. I hardly ever visit the official site. The level of most "discourse" there gives me a headache. I usually just visit to read the sim blogs, especially the ones of people I know.
