diagonal objects having browsed the internet a lot and downloaded loads of items i come across the same thing time and time again... objects placed diagonaly. example : http://www.4eversimfantasy.net/bedroom6.htm please let me in on this secret. is there an in-game cheat or are these people editing the picture to make it look nicer (which of course, diagonal objects do) i have seen this on loads of sites so it must be a well known thing... please let me know!
There is a code (although I believe it might be one of the ones that requires you have at one of the EPs) that allows you to place objects on the diagonal. "boolprop allow45DegreeAngleofRotation true" is the code, then you use your < and > keys on the placed object to get it to the angles you want. Some objects work just fine on an angle, some work oddly (like the animation for sitting on the couch) and some don't work at all (turn the object into "decor" rather than working.)
This cheat was introduced with University ... however I do not know if the cheats are cumulative so that later expansions carry all previously added cheats. Perhaps someone without Uni but either NL or OFB can confirm the workability of the cheat ...?
i have all 3 expansions so should be able to test this out. wow.. diagnals... puts a whole new angle on the game
