Is there a college degree cheat? I wanted to know if there is a way to get your college degree so my sims can go into the entertainment industry. I just really want to get the extra career tracks without going to college because its taking forever to finish and its not that fun. Thanx
Yes, there is. I think it's at MTS2. Jupitershana mentioned she'd found one. Shana? Where'd you get it?
For the instant cheat: The Counterfeit College Diploma at ModTheSims2.com is a buyable diploma that a sim may click to choose a major and grade before getting a "real" diploma ... the extra wants slots can also be added. For the dedicated gamer (who merely wants to make the more tedious bits of the college experience go at warp factor 10 Pescado's site is packed full of goodness from auto (macro) studification to magic clocks that make final exams appear by .... well ... magic
I use Pescado's hacks. I just started using College Rampage, which almost feels like cheating, but it does make college less tedious. My sims get their requirements over with quickly and then have more time to socialize, which is why people really go to college, right? If you read my story thread you'll see that quite a bit of, ahem, "socializing" has been going on ...
I'll say. Gracious, you make the sim college years so great I almost went back to playing in Uni again before I realized *and smacks head* I'm not in Porta de Luca.
Awww ... you're so sweet. I'm starting to get into gen 5. By the time they're gearing up for college their individual personalities start emerging. As always, some are more obvious to me than others, but it's always fun. Hope everyone else enjoys the ride as well.
I like using Pescado's College Rampage and then Two Jeff's College hack. (can't remember the correct name, it looks like a stack of telephone books.) I tell the sim to "Rampage" and they run though all their wants to study, do their assignments, and write their term paper. Then, I use the college enhancer thing to set their semester grade to whatever I want it to be (say, a B-) and then set their college clock to 2 hours before the exam. They toddle off to class, and come back with an A for the semester and a happy memory of making the deans list.
Not me. I do use the college rampage now, but they've still got to earn their A. I don't mind if some sims don't get as good of grades as others. George, for example, always has his head in the clouds, so it makes sense that he'd get worse grades than his studious hardworking brother Walter. I do have a question about college rampage: I've had to abort it occasionally because I don't like how far in the yellow my sims get. I assume they caffeinate rather than sleep, but how far does it let it go? I haven't patched OFB yet. Just got chicken when I heard the patch caused some problems. If I did patch my game, might that have an effect on college rampage?
LOL SB. It can be a like a rollercoaster ride using Pescado's macros. It has to be said that a Pescado macro works best in a Pescado built domicile ... I would imagine that a Pecado student rampages thru college in a room equipped with a coffee machine atop a dishwasher next to a toilet with a bathroom uses you controller next to a shower next to a table with a puter. Optional extras would be a bookcase and seating for extra sims to join in with college research. One flamingo needs to be nearby. Hacks required: macrotastics, bathroomusesyou, collegeclock, coffeecup, plus all critical uni-related hacks such as final fix etc. LOL just noticed I missed out the food ... but under the JMP fluence sims seem to abandon tasks just in time to hoover up left overs before they go bad ... it's typically cheap, but efficient Pescadoness, at its unlovely best
Ah. Well, no big then. I'll just interfere occasionally. I already feel like I'm cheating, LOL. I LOVE bathroom uses you, though. I was getting tired of telling everyone to use the potty! Especially when I've got a lot of full households. So, am I being a big chicken about the patch? Do you recommend it? It would be nice to be able to drive to my other sims' community lots!
I haven't had any problems with the patch at all. :ermm: I've come to believe that some of the people at some of the other forums are a little paranoid when it comes to "Maxian" patches and fixes. I've yet to have any major problems with any game patch or EP that weren't of my own doing.
I always download the patches...I'm a little less cautious about downloading things from online, perhaps because if I break the computer, it's an excuse to get a new, better one.
Yes, there's a college degree cheat. Actually you could change their major and year (but not the sem, always starts on the first sem). And you could also graduate them instantly. Open the cheat, you know, press Ctrl + Alt + C then type: boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true boolProp TestingCheatsEnabled true both type them, while on the neighborhood. Then, press Shift then click on the Sim then select Spawn... then Semester tester. There will be a big brown apple-like on pedestal will appear near the selected Sim. Click that apple-click and voila! Be merry
Be warned, anyone who uses boolprop uses it at their own risk. Do not click on something if you are not sure what it does. It can wreck havic on your game. Safest way would be to download the cheat from MTS2 that Mirelly mentioned. That one won't result in your game possibly being subject to the all too famous ball of flame.
Have I mentioned I love your new sig line, Shana? Too funny. My sister had a cat that would do that on the way to the vet. I made her hold him, LOL.
LOL, way to funny. I have a couple of cat quotes stored up for the next couple of weeks. Watch my sig for a new quote coming to a forum near you! It doesn't say Kitty Fanitic for nothing!
