send in the clones hewo everybody first post but unfornunatly it is a problem every time my couple of sims has a baby together doesn't matter wot they look like.the children all look exactly the same of course there are differences between boys and girls but every time i have a boy they look like the boy i had before and same with girls. now i have two clone boys and two cloned girls i was woundering if any one else has a problem like this and how to solve it and also the boys and girls where born seperatly so there not twins. just woundering because this is getting just a bit annoying ill be thankful for any help
I've had this happen, but only with one sim family. I've heard the solution is to go into the sim creation part of the game and make a few random sims, then discard them. You might want to try that.
Ah this is not good. I am not 100% sure of this but it won't hurt to try. First off the game always uses the same formula to deal with genetics so the first baby born in each session of play will always have the same personality ... you will end up with a neighborhood completely filled with Aires sims if you never have more than one baby per play session. The answer. Use Pescado's hack to rerandomize the sim generator. It's part of his lot debugging tool - a buyable object that enables you fix various problems debugger package (if you have OFB) debugger package for all other needs You can read more about it here I have one in every house and always use it to rerandomize before letting a baby get born ... they also come in handy in fixing the problems that crop up from time to time

I should clarify: Delete them while you're still in the family maker. Don't put them in the game. You're just trying to kick start the randomizer, not create new people. Unless you really like them, of course.
