(i see the vehicle icon in buy mode but it wont let me go there) 2. Is the only locked door the University door? (i want to make a break room for my employees but i dont know how to lock the door for just the customers and keep it available for me and the employees) Is that possible? 3. Why arent n-e of my customers buying clothes? they only buy the stuff thats on the shelves, never n-e thing from the clothes rack. 4. What are the customers complaining to me about? i wish i knew so i could fix the problem. 5. Is there a way for me to ask my employees to get back to work without yelling at them?? It makes their mood go down. 6. How can i keep all/most of my workers in the green?? 7. Where is the ug-no-more located at so i can buy it? Thats it, thanx so much!!!
Cars are part of Nightlife ... I'm afraid you'll need that to be able to buy and use cars All the normal Maxis doors may be locked - click the door for the various options The clothes racks ... urr ... that's a Maxis oversight. Basically ya can't sell clothes in an OFB business ... there are hacks/mods around that permit various options. Few are great. Use Google sims 2 ofb hacks That's just moaning. You might get some clue by watching the action closely ... but most likely you won't ... I know I didn't. Shops work best where the restocking is slick and the waiting in line is minimal. LOL ... that's life Cheat Ha, yes. That one's a cracker. Try looking in the comfort section of the catalog ... I'm sure I saw it in the miscellaneous seating section. Failing that it IS in the Open-For-Business Collection folder ... that's the bottom of the 3 tabs on the left side of the buy catalog section ... click that and scoll along to the OFB folder You're welcome!
Not true. You need to click on the clothes rack with the price tag thingy in the upper right corner and choose the price you'd like to set for the clothes. Then you can sell them just fine. You cannot, however, sell them from a home business. Only a community lot. As for the yelling, it may get easier when your business goes up in levels, but that's just speculation. My best business so far is level 6 and has no employees. I hate sim employees and try not to hire them.
It took me awhile to figure this out, but customer complaints are actually a good thing. Let your sim listen to the complaining customer and they will usually give you a plus sign and star for hearing them out. As for your employees, they aren't lazy...its just that their needs aren't being met. Make sure they have food, a toilet and sink, something enteraining, and a comfy chair to sit in somewhere in your store (preferably a break room.) After they top off their need bars your employees will go back to work without being told.
