Something wrong with Ralphie-poo... Ever since my Legacy family moved from to a new lot, my cow plant has been a bit off. He doesn't move, he doesn't stick his tongue out, none of my sims can click on him to feed him...he just sits there in his pen. The gate is locked to all but one sim, my current heiress. She can't click on him either. The only thing that happens is that, every time I enter the lot a puff of smoke exits his nostrils...but that's it. Is it because I put him in the inventory before the move? My poor Ralph...
Ooh could be, 123. I have a Mookie who ate a Servo and he (or do I mean she ) hasn't been the same since. You could try enabling boolProp testingcheatsenabled true and shift click Ralphie-walfy and try the "Force Error" option ... [Warning - of the 3 options choose either 'Reset' or 'Cancel' regardless of the actual error cos if you choose 'Delete' you will lose something ... Ralph most likely ]
Well, I could just get a new cowplant (Servo has maxxed skills and grammy has almost 15 family friends) but Ralph holds a special place in my heart. I don't like to use cheats as it's my Legacy family, but you are allowed to if there's a bug. I guess I'll try it. Thanks for the help!
Nope, it didn't work. I tried Force Error and clicked on both Reset and Cancel...when I clicked Cancel the window kept popping up until I clicked on Reset. I guess I'll have to get a new one...does anyone have any other suggestions? :(
Throw a farewell party? Actually, I have one more suggestion: You could try moving again. Maybe that would fix him. I usually move off a lot if my sims start acting goofy. I had some sims that were stuck on a couch once and moving snapped 'em out of it.
Well, with a Legacy family that's a real big hassle. I try to move every other generation, at the most...you have to pack up all of your furniture, build a new lot and house, use various money cheats so you don't gain any money on the move...and if he's not fixed after that I just may kill myself.
Oh, please don't. We'd miss you. Good luck! The only other thing I can think of is to have someone else get that career reward ... hope moving helps.
