How to get child back from Social Worker??? Hi, I was happily playing my family when the two parents went to work at the same time. The nanny was there to look after the toddler. For some bizarre reason while they were both still at work the nanny left the house and left the child at home alone. Well of course it was only a matter of time before the social worker came along and took the child. Is there anyway I can get the child back?? I've tried adopting but they won't let me because I have a "history". If someone could help me that would be brilliant. Thanks.
It's not easy, Mel. The parents will not be able to adopt and even if they do the child will have no memories before the adoption. The only way you can get the child back into the house is by having another sim adopt the child then have that sim move in with the parents (bringing the child, too) ... you may then move the spare sim back out leaving the child behind. Doing this will put the child in the house but the child won't regard the parents as parents. Much easier to set those parents aside and start over with a new couple in my opinion ... :(
