Missing universities I just installed the university EP with no problems, but I seem to be missing universities except the Sim State uni (which I've played with no probs) and creating the custom uni options. The arrow in the main menu to choose the other uni's seem to be missing. Or are those other Uni's only playable in other towns like Strangetown, etc? The options for the others did appear the first time I loaded the game, but I can't find it now. And also, I accidently wiped out all the families in main game when I installed it, but that doesn't matter. I just wanted to check if the game is installed properly. I use the F:\ drive, and the game automatically chooses the C:\ drive. I changed it at installation to where my S2 game is, but made different folders. Is that ok? Or am I suppose to install it in an entire different location, like desktop or something? EG: F:\EA Games\The Sims 2 University F:\EA Games\The Sims 2 My C:\ drive is almost filled up. Thanks for any help.
If I remember correctly, you should have some sort of option where you can add more unis. Along with build custom one. There should be 3 all together. Sims State Uni, Academy le Tour (something like that) and a desert one (like Strangetown). Thats not much help I know, but maybe someone else has some ideas. No idea on the other stuff, lol.
Yes it makes separate folders ... here's a pic of my C:\Program Files\EA Games\ folder to prove it. You need all the folders but you must only try to start the game with launcher from the last expansion pack you installed. OK?
Thanks! Just figured out how to play university too. Didn't know it was only one uni per neighbourhood, then you can create a new custom one.
