Something very strange is going on. Please help! A strange thing started happening with my Sims 2 game. In one family it went like this (there was a woman and a toddler When I "told" the woman or toddler to do something, they either didn't do it at all or were somehow "teleported" to the place I told them to go (or wanted to go) and acted very strange. No animation showed up on their faces at all. An error message kept showing up, and some people were absolutely unable to do anything and just stood in one place with their arms sticking straight out at their sides in midair. The error message is something like this Missing reach animation (then you select either: ) Cancel---Retry---Delete. If you select cancel it does nothing, retry tries it again, and delete deletes the character (Sim). Build and buy mode still work though. Does anyone know what's happening and/or how to fix it? I've downloaded all the patches available for my expansion packs. Thanks!
You didn't happen to have the boolprop testingcheats active at the time, did you? That's the sort of thing I've seen happen when someone had the cheats active and accidently clicked wrong.
