Help with downloads, please! I'm a new macintosh user, and I can't figure out how to make my downloads work for The Sims 2. I have a zip program, and I've been trying the same unzipping process as I did on my PC (unzip to a download folder in the sims folder) Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong, and how to make my downloads appear in my game? Thank you so much!
I believe that only Sims2Packages work with the Package installer. That may be your problem. Also, have you tried opening them via the Package installer? It comes with the same folder as the game itself.
Hm..all I have to do with a .zip file is open it up (double click), find the .package files, and send them right to the downloads folder. I didnt use any fancy software actually either. So give that a shot unless you have already.
