I've used Merola's multipainting to adjust a sim's age. You can subtract several days at a time (or add days, which I found more convenient than the green juice because I work my sims so hard they rarely get their moods into the gold. ) The painting can be found under Merola's name at simchaotics :http://www.simchaotics.com/ And the painting is widely used and long tested so it shouldn't give you any problems.
You can also just give them the green juice when they're in the green or lower. That will add 3 days at a time to their age.
I think you misunderstood me. Gyro wants his (her?) sims to get OLDER faster, not younger ... just to clarify that if you take the potion when you're not in the gold or platinum, it will make you three days OLDER, not younger. I know because I've done it accidentally once or twice.
Not fail proof though, I've had sims in a bad mood that I have wanted to make older using that method, but instead they they got younger . Definately the easiest and fool proof method is merola 64s painting.
Right behind you, sweetie. I can never remember if I've done something, even if I just did it. I've started writing things down.
I've had the painting since it first came out and after a few initial hic-cups when it was still in beta testing, I have never had a problem with it since, nor do I know anyone who has had any problems with it. Probably one of the safest hacks to have in your game in my opinion.
I agree! It is even safe enough to use on a Mac! (I'm always worried about adding things that are primarily written for the PC game.) I've not had any problems. It is a very well-written piece of code! A BIG for Merola's Painting!
theres a really easy way you wait until you're below gold then using the aging thing that supposed to make you younger its chancy but def dont do it twice in a row
Do you mean bad mood or low Aspiration? The Sim's mood won't affect the results of drinking the potion, as they could be in gold/platinum, in a bad mood and still gain extra days of life.
me too I also wandered about this...quite interesting really. I had the box up , the cheat box...type stretchskeleton in..the cheat. But i dont think anything happened:S
You need to give it a number, like stretchskeleton .9 to make your sim 10% shorter or stretchskeleton 1.1 to make them 10% taller, 1 being the default height. However, it doesn't stick and you have to do it every time you play the sim. Also, it looks weird. I tried it with a sim I wanted to be a dwarf and he ended up looking like he had two pairs of legs. I think I'm going to wait until they come up with a way to have differently sized bodies.
stretchskeleton.9 i type it in like that for example? Thanks for that..i honestly did not know that it never actually said on the cheat site LOL!
Oh i just tried it..it does not look right LOL! i thought it made them look real..with height difference taller or smaller...not stretch on their legs to make them look weird LOL!
LOL i actually had a shock when i put 9 in and the legs of my sim was extremely long...i thought there was a bit stretchy monster on my game LOL!!!!
