Install Problems with the sims 2 nightlife. help! i uninstalled the sims 2 and all expansion packs i had as i had to reformat my system. i installed the sims 2 and it worked fine, no problems. i also installed university, again with no problems. so i then tried to install nightlife. it was all going fine untill it got up to 35% and it came up with this error message: 'A problem occurred when trying to transfer file TSData\Res\Sound\SfxK2/package from the media. Do you want to retry to copy the the file, or cancel the installation?' naturally, i pressed retry, several times and it still didnt work. so i pressed cancel and tryed to do that thing where you copy the contents of the disk into a file on drive c called disk images. & in the middle of copying, it came up with a message saying it couldnt copy :/ is this a common bug or something? my disk is no where near scratched becuase i have only even installed it once before and soon after i did i got the next expansion pack and have been using that disk. is there anything i can do?? thanx =] x.
I'm not really technical but usually what I try to do when I get problems is clean the disc especially if there are no scratches.
