Teenager is stuck and wont move Ok, so I was playing normally, the phone rang, and the teen went to go answer but b/c the dad had a command to answer the call, he suddenly bent halfway down and swiped the phone from the teenager, ever since my teen has been stuck in that position, and wont move. My actions show "answer phone" w/ a red "x" through it b/c I cancelled the action, but the time continues to fly by and she wont continue on to the next action. I put the moveobjects cheat On so I could move her, and ironically regardless of where I move her, she walks her way down to the spot where she meant to pick up the phone! this is so frustrating, the other Sims recognize she's there and she's in the way, I don't want to delete her, b/c I've worked so hard to make her. I don't know how to fix this! help please!
ok, nevermind, all I had to do to fix it was delete/sell the phone! and to think I've been pondering over this for the last month!
Glad you fixed it by deleting the phone. Just for in the future, if you delete your sim that will actually solve the problem. Delete her, save the game, go to the neighborhood, re-enter your house and your sim will be standing next to the mailbox. There is also another way to get around all that with a boolprop cheat and forcing errors, but I won't go into that unless you want me to.
