    The Sims 2 University Problem

I'm having the same problem as some other people on here, so here it is:

    1. Processor: Name and speed (MHz/GHz)--- Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.00GHz
    2. System Memory RAM (MB/GB)--- 1022 MB
    3. Windows Version (98/XP etc.)--- XP
    4. Free Hard Disk Space--- 1996MB
    5. Total Hard Disk Space---
    6. DirectX Version--- DirectX 9.0c (4.009.0000.0904)
    7. Display Adapter (Graphic/Video Card) Name & Model Number-- Radeon X300 SE 128 MB HyperMemory
    8. Display Driver Name and Version Number & date--- ati2dvag.dll, 6.14.0010.6561, 8/5/2005
    9. Approximate Total Video Memory--- 128.0 MB?
    10. Game Detail (eg: Sims 2 CD or DVD Version, expansion packs owned)--- Sims 2 CD.. expansion packs:
    11. Nature of problem (more details the better)--- I downloaded the game fine, but when I try to play it, the Sims 2 Universtiy screen comes on and then shuts off a few seconds later.
Thanks, I could use the help. :) Felt really bad when I couldn't play it. If I need more video space, could you tell me where to go to delete some?

Did you download it from the internet or did you mean you installed it from the cd? :)

We had the same problem. Simple solution. We put in the latest disc that had come out which in our case was "Seasons". You then go on downtown mode and at the top left hand of the screen there is a symbol which is a picture of students and a plus sign. Click on that to add your university and you are off!

Exactly. Please watch the dates next time, sueluckett. This thread is over a year old and I don't think the poster is ever going to see your post. It was nice that you wanted to help though.
