How Do You Get A Dishwasher and Trash Compacter?

I know where to GET these items, but i don't know how to place them. It says to place under a counter but it doesnt work for me... Can anyone help me with this?

 

make sure you're trying to place them under an actual counter instead of a island counter--those ones you can put a chair up to it but don't allow you to place a trash compactor or dishwasher under them. Also, it won't go under a counter that you put a sink in. Hope that helps somewhat.

 

It does, thanks. I didn't notice the "Island" in some of the counters' names.
