I believe that the official date for Pets for PC is October 17, although it may be different depending on the country. For instance, although games in North America are generally released on a Tuesday, in England they are not actually put on the shelves until the Friday of that week. So, the best way to find out, if you don't live in the US, Canada or England is to contact your local game retailer and ask when they expect their shipment to be available.
I heard Tuesday ship, Thursday in stores for the U.S., but I'm gonna check my store today anyway. I've been busy getting my game ready.
