    What Paint Program?

What program do you use for bodyshop and homecrafter?
    What program would you recommend?

I use Ulead Photo Impact 5 Bundled Edition, it's 7 years old but works a dream! It dosn't require too much RAM* which is great for multi-tasking and that's what Bodyshop is all about!

I also use Project Dogwaffle, it has excellent colour mixing tools and has various special effects which look great on clothes for Sims. The only down side is that you can only have 1 document open at a time!

I generally use Corel's Painter 8, although I also have Photoshop CS2. Many people like using Gimp, which is a free program you can find here: http://www.gimp.org/ That site also has tutorials and the like, as well as a user to user forum.

A lot of people use older programs such as the old Paint Shop Pro (which was bought from Jasc by Corel, so the new versions are by Corel), older versions of Adobe Photoshop, such as 5.5, or the like. People can find them on EBay and other places, although the downside is that the companies no longer support them. (But there are user-to-user groups where you can find tutorials and the like. And some of the old manuals are for sale too, if you can learn from a book better than just picking it up from talking with others.)

I'm using Paint Shop Pro 7 to paint my skins and a little freeware program called 20/20 to make patterns and textures seamless :)
