Need help!! flashing red walls I've had the Sims 2 installed on my computer for a while now and I've also added 2 expansion packs but everytime I have tried to add another expansion pack, it all installs fine and everything like that but when I actually get to playing it, the walls flash red, both on the family creater and on the walls of the actual houses(inside and out). Does anyone know what I can do without uninstalling my whole sims network.!! (When I uninstall the expansion packs it completely deletes all of my saved sims files.) PLEASE HELP.. it's really frustrating!!
It may be that you just need the patches available at the official site (EA Sims2.) Please take a look at this thread. You might also do a search of the forum here. A number of people have had the same problem: http://forums.worldsims.org/showthread.php?t=10091&highlight=flashing+red
I have the same problem too, now I didn't bother with Glamour or Family Fun, don't really care for the lame expansions, but my brother has them and when I bought PETS he brought those 2 expansions home and installed them, now he claims he installed each one separately and didn't have that problem till PETS was loaded on. I checked the other links provided and they all seem to confirm its FFS, though one person still has that problem. Prior to this my game would show blue lots on the map if any house had a basement after installing nightlife though thats all it did. My graphics card is a Kyro Hercules Prophet 4500 65MB which is only 5 years and has been updated, though I don't see how a graphics card can run 95% of the game and yet cause problems for walls, foundation and pools.
