OK here's the truth. I fell out with my ISP (a cable operator) and refused to pay them until they fixed my cable (what was draped over me rose bushes) ... after a couple of months of demanding money they disconnected me LOL ... I am therefore taking my sweet time in getting reconnected ... Meanwhile I can check in for nowt when I am here at college doing a course to get some extra qualifications in basic computer skills since a piece of paper says more about one's skills than a home made CV (resum) To be honest the lack of web access has been a refreshing vacation from the tyranny of email and spam ... being an addictive personality with verbal diarrhoea I did tend to waste an inordinate amount of time on the net. My house has never been so clean and my eponymously named cat has never been so stroked ... Hopefully I shall sort out my ongoing row with <ahem> and will soon be reconnected ...
