I gotta say, that is bercool! I have been so tired of building my garage on the same side, and it kinda limtis the way you can build houses. This is simply brilliant!
The animation is a bit hinky when the car drives in, but it works really well otherwise. (I've built 2 houses that way this week.) Between that and learning to use the CFE (boolprop ConstrainFloorElevation) cheat, it's amazing what you can do with the game. I found a great tutorial on how to attach a house with a foundation to a garage (without one) on SimPosium's forum (http://www.getphpbb.com/phpbb/index.php?mforum=sterlingsims2fo although you need to do a free signup in order to get to the tutorials) that worked much better than the one I found at TSR. Of course, you have to be good at extrapolating if you want to combine the garage/foundation tutorial with the side entry garage, but it's well worth it.
Oh my that house is just fabulous! whoever built it must have spent a lot of time doing so...unless it was actually bought It appears that most of the furniture etc was off downloads too.
