Black Friday! Woot! So, post up your lil Black Friday lil tips and guides towards successful Black Friday obsessions .
Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving. Every crazy American (and me) get up at some ungodly hour of the morning to go shopping as soon as the doors open. The lines are long, the crowds are annoying, but the prices are great, and there's nothing quite like the rush that you feel on that day. Funny thing is, everything everyone else hates--the crowds, lines, getting up early for it, etc.--are the very things I love -John PS. I totally forgot I have to do my online shopping still. Bah!
Ahhh okies, thanks John. It sounds like our 'Bank Holidays'. We have several throughout the year. And it always rains on Bank Holidays. I hate crowds and avoid shopping on busy days if I can help it. Come to think of it, in the run up to Christmas I usually end up tired, frustrated, etc you get the picture lol. Shopping online sounds like the best bet at the moment. No parking issues, no car park fees, no-one banging into you in the stores, no lines at the checkout, no having to put up with people smoking (it makes me ill), easier on the feet... online shopping sounds great! I understand what ya mean though about the rush you get from the buzz of Black Friday - I hope you get some great deals! Let us know.
Well, we'll see For all I know, I might just go for the sake of going. God willing Ill be able to get a few good deals though Thanks for your good luck wishes -John
Didn't do too much shopping today, but got a little bit out of the way. I got a mixer for mom and a wallet for dad. Practical? Yup. Is mom going to want to hit me with it? You bet. But the mixer she has now is a fire hazard
