Help cant figure out how to build dorm help plz i got sims 2 nightlife and university day befeore yesterday i cant figure out how to build a dorm i built a dorm and it says availible for rent and yes i built it in a college neighboorhood i also cant figure out how to connect my garage to my house thanks to whoever helps me
can anyone help me oh and wat i meant by rent is i build the dorms with the sign door and when i try to move in i have to rent the whole building like u would rent a house

After entering the "changelotzoning dorm" cheat, you have to save and reload the lot before it takes effect.
Why bother? There are plenty of nice dorms to choose from in the lot bin. So many other things I'd rather spend my time doing ...
And you can always change the look of the maxis made dorms by chaning flooring, wall paper and furniture. I agree...(for me at least) there are better things to spend time on, after all the time Sims spend at Uni is so boring and tedius, you just wanna get outta there as fast as possible. Cass.
Why not just move the college kids into their own home? Then you can design any kind of house you want from scratch, no cheats (except money ones of course) needed and you can have as many cars as you like. PLUS you don't have all those annoying townie sims clogging up your sims living space. Cass.
